Enclosed please <br /> find a copy of the bid tabulation sheet for your records. <br /> The lowest bid was submitted by Anchor Contractors, Inc., Weymouth, MA at <br /> l,46 l,850, however Anchor Contractors, Inc. failed to acknowledge Addendum No. <br /> dated April 23, 1996 which included all the latest federal wage rates as well as general <br /> contractor structural work in the meeting rooms. Bccause the addendum contained <br /> material which would have changed the bid price, Anchor Contractors, Inc. must be <br /> rejected as not responsive to the Chapter 149 public bidding requirements of the contract <br /> documents. <br /> The apparent lover bidder, therefore, is I 'Agostino Associates, Inc., 46 Farwell Street. <br /> Newton, MA in the amount of $1,486,900. D'Agostino has been certified by the <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Capital Planm"ng & Operations with a <br /> sin le ' <br /> roect limit of $10,000,000 and n aggregate rating limit of $20,000,000. Mr. <br /> P � <br /> Stephen Abbott of DCPO stated that D'Agostino has been in business for 25 years and <br /> certified for eight yew to perform renovation work of thi <br />
