Page 1 <br /> Town Hall Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> November 13, 1996 <br /> Present: Jim Vaccaro,Ray Martini, Charles Buckingham,Bob Fox <br /> Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant to the Executive Secretary Joyce Mason <br /> Guests: Roger Hoit- Strekalovsky and Hoit,Inc. <br /> Kenneth Marsters- Board of Selectmen liaison <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Vaccaro at 1:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall Conference Trailer. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Wednesday. October 30. 1996: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Martini to approve the minutes of <br /> Wednesday, October 30, 1996 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Buckingham. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> TOUR OF FACILITY: <br /> The Committee conducted a tour of the Town Hall facility. <br /> Meeting re-convened: 1:25 p.m. <br /> REPORT OF THE ARCHITECT: <br /> Roger Hoit,Project Architect discussed the progress of the Town Hall <br /> renovation project with members of the Town Hall Building Committee. <br /> Mr.Hoit indicated that the week of December 10, 1996 remains the <br /> target date for occupancy. All work should be substantially completed <br /> at the point of occupancy with the exception of minor punch list items. <br /> It was noted that front entrance will receive a base coat of asphalt within <br /> the next few weeks. The Committee addressed concerns with regards to <br /> the installation of the final asphalt binder as it relates to general December <br /> weather conditions. In addition,the portable office facilities must be <br /> removed from site prior to this phase of the construction process. <br /> The Committee requested the Architect insulate the exterior water piping <br /> located in the rear of the Town Hall facility. <br /> Selectman Marsters requested the Architect accelerate the construction <br /> process, and furnish an updated schedule to the Committee for review. <br /> It was noted that Mr. Marsters is updating the Board of Selectmen on a <br /> weekly basis with regards to construction activities. <br />
