Page 2 <br /> Town Hall Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> November 13, 1996 <br /> REPORT OF THE ARCHITECT: <br /> Mr.Hoit indicated that he will supply the Committee with a construction <br /> schedule projected for the next 30 days,and accelerate the work crews <br /> to streamline the overall construction process as recommended. <br /> Mrs. Mason indicated that she has received cost estimates to transfer <br /> the office furnishings into the newly renovated facility that remain <br /> consistent with budget guidelines. <br /> The Building Inspector will be requested to furnish an update to the <br /> Committee with regards to regulatory inspections. <br /> Mr.Hoit indicated that he expects an employee from his office to <br /> replace John Swenson, the Project Representative. It was noted that <br /> Mr. Swenson was recently injured on site, and will be on leave for <br /> approximately six weeks. <br /> The Committee has received the Project Representative's daily reports <br /> through October 17, 1996. <br /> Mr.Hoit will identify a space in the new Town Hall facility for the <br /> office of the Community Development Administrator who is <br /> expected to be on site for an additional year. <br /> In other matters, Mr. Hoit was requested to prepare the front entrance <br /> site for the planting of two holly trees. <br /> In addition, Mr.Hoit will furnish a separate invoice for the removal of <br /> the two oil storage tanks as requested. He will address the sprinkler <br /> system revision as authorized to include all heads and related connection <br /> fees at the next scheduled meeting to be reflected as an additional <br /> change order. <br /> Mr.Hoit informed the Committee that it is necessary to conduct additional <br /> steel work in the office area to be occupied by the Conservation <br /> Commission. A separate requisition will be submitted by D'Agostino <br /> Associates for a time and material sum not to exceed; $4,000. <br />
