Mr. D. Barrett <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Approve August 2012 Residential Tonnage of 2,553.00 Tons for Reporting to SEMASS <br /> Total Residential and Commercial is 3,695.57 tons <br /> Mr. D. Barrett made a motion to accept the August tonnage. Ms. Laurent seconded the <br /> motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Approve September 2012 Residential Tonnage of 1,757,37 Tons for Reporting to SEMASS <br /> Total Residential and Commercial is 2,782.40 tons <br /> The Chair noted that there was a drop in tonnage from August. <br /> Ms. Laurent made a motion to accept the tonnage from September. Mr. D.Barrett <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Update/Discussion: Tipping-Fees <br /> Ms. Laurent distributed a handout regarding proposed UCRTS commercial haulers tipping fees <br /> and reported that SEMASS would no longer offer the residential rate for commercial haulers. As <br /> of November 1", 2012,the commercial rate would increase to $45 per ton. Ms. Laurent <br /> reviewed 6 different scenarios for the UCRTS tipping rates that could be offered to commercial <br /> haulers. Existing FY12 rates are $19 residential and $56 commercial. Ms. Laurent based the <br /> scenarios on the 2011 tonnage and incorporating the different components to include the UCRTS <br /> per ton rate, the rail fee and,the SEMASS fee for FY2013. The rates become lower when <br /> figuring in the budget surplus based on FY2011 tonnage and further reduced based on FY2012 <br /> 1 <br />
