Laurence & Associates, Inc., Arthur Brown <br /> f Boston Building Consultants <br /> The meeting of the llashp e Town Hall Building Committee was called to order b <br /> Chairperson Jim Vaccaro at 1.03 p.m. on July B, 1995. <br /> Jim began the meeting by welcoming DiMarinisl & Wolfe t the interview and <br /> introduced the Committee members. He outlined the guidelines for the presentation. <br /> Mr. Wolfe began his presentation by introducing the two other members of his <br /> presentation team, Mr. Rowley and Mr. Griffith. He stated they were very interested in <br /> the job. During his presentation, Mr. Wolfe compartmentalized the project into four <br /> categories of place, space, money and time. He briefly discussed each of these <br /> components. He provided examples of past renovation projects that his firm had <br /> completed, including the Boylston Town Offices and Police Station} the Harvard <br /> Crimson Renovation and Addition Project in Cambridge and the Hyde Park Police <br /> Station. He stated that his firm had experience in renovating buildings that were <br /> populated. He also stated that on two previous projects, his firm had installed handicap <br /> accessibility. He ended his presentation by asking if there were any questions. <br /> .Jim asked which of their projects would they say would be the most applicable to the <br /> iashpee Town Hall project. Iver. Wolfe stated that the Harvard Crimson Project was <br /> very similar and provided some comparison including the installation of handicap <br /> accessibility. Jim asked what the total change orders were for the Crimson Building. <br /> Mr. Wolfe stated $30,000 to $40,000. Bob Fox asked ed what problems, if any, they <br /> encountered with the elevator installation. Mr. Wolfe stated that the only problem was <br /> dealing with Cashmond being the only elevator excavating company available. Bob <br /> also asked what the cost was for all four stops. Mr. Wolfe replied $80,000. Charlie <br /> asked what his recommendation would be for the electrical requirement for connecting <br /> computers from one office to another. Mr. Wolfe replied that it would depend on the <br /> needs of the Town Hall and briefly discussed several possibilities. Bob vhritenur <br />
