Mr. Wolfe replied that they had designed both <br /> and provided examples. Flay asked what find of heating system would they <br /> recommend. Mr. Griffith replied that they recommended modular boilers. Bob Fox <br /> stated that they had thought about a burner that would switch from gas to oil. Mr. <br /> Griffith started that this could also be done. A discussion was held regarding various <br /> heating and air conditioning options. Bob Whriten ur asked if they had looked at the <br /> design completed in the feasibility study and wanted their opinion. Mr. Wolfe started <br /> that he had not seen it as yet. Bob Whrit n ur asked what their opinion was of the <br /> phasing of the project as presented-in the feasibility study. Mr. Wolfe stated that he <br /> had not as yet read the feasibly study but started that they had done this type of phasing <br /> in the part. Bob Fox asked if they would be working with Mr. Wolfe and his partner if <br /> awarded the contract. Mr. Wolfe replied that they would and mentioned that they were <br /> a six-man firm. ,dim asked if they had a CAD system. Mr. Wolfe replied they did not. <br /> ,Jinn asked if the electrical requirements were similar to the heating and air conditioning <br /> requirement . Mr. Griffith stated that they were and that he and his parrtner would come <br /> down and go through the building completely to assess their requirements. ,Jim also <br /> asked how they planned to keep the offices-operating when they were installing new <br /> electrical system. Mr. Griffith replied that this would be done in phases and provided <br /> brief scenario. <br /> Jim asked if they had any closing remarks. Mr. Wolfe stated again that they were very <br /> interested in the job and that the project would get the full attention of the principals of <br /> the firm and felt that they could provide the services. Jiro thanked the DiMarrinisi <br /> Wolfe team for their presentation and stated that the Committee Mould be providing the <br /> Selectmen with their recommendations at the July 24, 1995, meeting. <br /> After the DiMarinisi & Wolfe team had left, J-Irn asked for the Committee members' <br /> opinions and comments. Ray stated he had mixed emotions. 'He did not feel <br /> comfortable with the fact that they were suggesting and recommending many different <br /> upas of heating, air conditioning, and electrical but could not settle on which type to <br /> recommend.mend. Bob Whritenour stated that they never bothered to come and look at the <br /> building prior to their presentation. He did not feel it was a good presentation. .Jim <br /> agreed that they did kind of a sloppy job. Charlie stated that they did have experience <br /> in moving people around while renovating a building. <br /> The next interview began at 3:12 p.m. by .dim introducing the Committee members to <br /> The Preservation Partnership team and explained the guidelines for the presentation. <br /> Mr. Ferro began his presentation by introducing the members f his team, Mr. Murray, <br /> Mr. Laurence, and Nor. Brown. Mr. Ferro presented a slide show which detailed his <br /> firm's history and provided examples of their past projects, including the Howe School, <br /> the Town Hall of Dartmouth, and the Town Hall of Douglas. He cited numerous <br /> examples of similar work. He started that on their projects, he held discussions with all <br /> departments many times to assess the Town Haul's requirements and stated be ends up <br />
