q Town of Mashpee <br /> N <br /> 16 Grea Ace 1{oarl Aorth <br /> Masly)ee,la assacliuseas 02649 <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Committee Members Present: Michael Mendoza, Jonathan Furbush, <br /> Joe Cummings <br /> Absent: Joshua Spencer and Miles Peters <br /> Mike Mendoza called the meeting to order at 8:32 am. <br /> Continued Hearing <br /> Business name: RCA Electrical Contractors, Inc. <br /> Project Address: 20 Evergreen Circle <br /> Owner: Evergreen Energy, LLC <br /> Representative: Cape Wide Construction <br /> Architect/Engineer: Down Cape Engineering <br /> Requests: Add two (2) Signs to project. (1) Building Mounted <br /> 60"x 116" and one (1) ground mounted 36"x 80" <br /> Building 48.35 sq. ft., ground 20 sq. ft. <br /> (Continued from November 6, 2018 meeting) <br /> Mr. Roger Brooks, with Cape Wide Construction represented the applicants. He submitted <br /> four color swatches to the committee that will be used on the two signs. The same color <br /> scheme will be used on both the building mount and ground mount.The detail of the ground <br /> mounted sign was submitted with full dimensions as indicated on'the site plan. <br /> Mr. Mendoza asked how far off the property line is the ground mounted sign being <br /> proposed. The setback should be 5 ft. <br /> Mr. Brooks said the setback will be 5 ft. or 5.1 ft. He asked if he could submit the dimensions <br /> of the sign when he submits the building permit application. <br /> Mr. Mendoza said that is acceptable. He asked if the sign will be illuminated. <br /> Mr. Brooks said; yes, the sign will be illuminated and he submitted photometric plans that <br /> show the illumination on both sides. <br /> Mr. Furbush asked the height of the free standing signs. The signs cannot exceed 15 ft., <br /> and cannot be closer than 15 ft. from any lot line. <br /> Mr. Brooks said the total height to the top of the peak is 7 ft. <br /> Mr. Cummings asked if there was a picture of the free standing. Mr. Brooks said it was <br /> submitted with the package. <br /> 1 <br />
