Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> May 1,2019 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall-Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Present: Chairman Mary Waygan, Joe Cummings, Dennis Balzarini, David Weeden, Robert(Rob) <br /> Hansen (Alt.) <br /> Also: Selectman Tom O'Hara <br /> Absent: David Kooharian <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Waquoit Meeting <br /> Room at Mashpee Town Hall by Chairman Waygan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. The <br /> Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES—April 17, 2019 <br /> Chairman Waygan asked to table the minutes so that they could be more carefully reviewed. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 7:05 p.m. May 6, 2019 Town Meeting Warrant,Proposed Zoning Amendments <br /> Warrant Article: To amend Section E of 174-5(G)Light Industrial Overlay <br /> District <br /> Warrant Article: To amend 174-25(I)(10) of the Zoning Bylaw "Accessory uses" <br /> by adding the letters "SP" under the columns identified as C-3 and I-1 and further <br /> to amend 174-25 (E)(12), Principal retail business and consumer service <br /> establishments by adding the letters "SP" under the column identified as I-1 <br /> The appointed time having arrived, the Chair opened the Public Hearing and read the Warrant Article <br /> requests. <br /> Article 26, Light Industrial Overlay, was continued from April 17. Architectural standards would be <br /> required, Board members offered their support. There was no public comment <br /> Article 27, Accessory Use would allow outdoor dining and accessory use by Special Permit. There <br /> were no additional comments. <br /> The Chair opened the next Public Hearing. <br /> 7:10 p.m. Warrant Article 26: To amend 174-45.6(E) Light Industrial Overlay District <br /> The appointed time having arrived, the Chair opened the Public Hearing and read the request for <br /> Warrant Article 26. The Chair stated that the two public hearings were necessary due to a noticing <br /> error referencing the wrong section in the Bylaws. The Article 26, referencing 174-5(G)was the error <br /> and would be addressed on the floor at Town Meeting and clarification was being tonight. Mr. <br /> Bazarini expressed concern about the confusion and the Chair confirmed that Mr. Lehrer had drafted <br /> an explanation. There were no additional comments. <br /> 1 <br />
