Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, November 6, 2018 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Mike Mendoza, Building Commissioner had a list of questions and items he wanted to <br /> address; <br /> • Controlled Construction is required. The application is currently being revised <br /> within a week or two and will be posted online, and addresses life safety for both <br /> Fire and Building Departments. <br /> • Snow storage placement and where it will be proposed as discussed at Design <br /> Review. <br /> • Lighting needs to remain onsite as discussed at Design Review. <br /> • Signage. <br /> • UL Design for fire ratings, and cut sheets. <br /> Mr. Learned said he typically uses aggressive fire alarm coverage with NFPA 72. <br /> Evan made the motion to request that the applicant provide updated site plans to remove <br /> the parking in the front, and relocate the building so that the short side of the building be <br /> displayed on towards Evergreen Circle. <br /> Katelyn seconded. <br /> Jack Phelan disagreed with the motion. <br /> Moved to Discussion. <br /> Glen Harrington mentioned that the next Board of Health meeting is Thursday, November <br /> 29, 2018. <br /> Mr. Mendoza mentioned that any changes made would need to go back before Design <br /> Review, because the plan they approved will no longer be valid. Any changes will have to <br /> be revisited. <br /> Evan reiterated that the position of the building should be changed and that it is wrong to <br /> have parking in the front, as shown. <br /> Mr. Mendoza moved the motion to a vote. <br /> Vote: three were in favor, four opposed. <br /> Glen then made a motion to continue the hearing to the next date. <br /> Katelyn seconded. <br /> Moved to Discussion. <br /> Mr. Mendoza moved the motion to a vote. <br /> Vote:three were in favor, four opposed <br /> Chief Car►ine made a motion to accept the plan as presented with review of the parking <br /> plan in place. <br /> Catherine seconded. <br /> 4 <br />
