Minutes of Meeting of Mashpee Plan Review Committee Held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room Drew McManus, Conservation Agent Drew said there are no wetlands, and no natural heritage on this site. Tom Rullo, Fire Chief • The building will require a sprinkler system. The sprinkler room needs to have a sign, and for the FDC. • Controlled Construction documents will be required. • A fire protection engineer for the design of the sprinkler system. • A design of the interior showing the separation on the interior. • Caution the area with storage of combustibles such as cardboard, and avoid the amount of cardboard. Sprinkled or not, the sprinkler system can be overloaded. That is the key factor. • Address on Evergreen • Knox Box requirement Chief Rullo recommended the applicant schedule a meeting to discuss further interior design plans. Charlie told the applicants that they need controlled construction documents for all the projects discussed today, and they can contact him to schedule a meeting if necessary. Glen mentioned that the floor plan shows two retail spaces. Matt said that is the wrong plan, and they will revise it. Motion: Glen made a motion to approve the application with the following conditions; • Special Permit required and that the Town Planner recommend . architectural guidance from the Cape Commission. • Landscape to be low impact • Trash and recycling dumpsters are provided. • Retention basin cannot be within the 50 ft. wooded buffer area. • The Building is sprinkled. • Control Construction Documents to be provided. • A fire protection engineer to review the uses of the building. • A Knox Box requirement. • The entrances for the uses across the street be reviewed and revised appropriately if necessary.
