A Petition for a Comprehensive Permit under M.G.L. Chapter 40B was filed with <br /> the Town Clerk and received by the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals(the Board) <br /> on April 24, 2019 (the Petition). The Petitioner proposes to divide the existing <br /> vacant lot into two separate lots,and build two new affordable homes at 341 Great <br /> Neck Road North,Mashpee,MA.The proposal for both homes will have three(3) <br /> bedrooms, one full bath, and one half bath. The Petitioner is seeking relief from <br /> the Zoning bylaws: §174.9, §174.28, §174.3 1, §174.32,and §174.49-56. <br /> 2. Notice was duly given to abutters. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on May 3,2019 and May 10,2019, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof. <br /> 3. The Board's hearing on the Petition was opened on May 22, 2019. After <br /> deliberation, the Board also closed the hearing on May 22, 2019. The following <br /> members of the Board were present and acting throughout: Board Members, <br /> Jonathan Furbush, William A. Blaisdell, Ronald S. Bonvie, Scott Goldstein, and <br /> Norman J. Gould. <br /> 4. During the public hearing, the Petition was represented by the following <br /> individuals:Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod,Inc.,Attorney Warren Brodie,Bob <br /> Reedy, Civil Engineer with J.M. O'Reilly, and Beth Wade,Land Acquisition and <br /> Permitting Manger with Habitat for Humanity. Also present was Walter Abbott, <br /> Affordable Housing Committee. <br /> 5. Prior to the hearing, the Board received comments and correspondence from <br /> various Town Boards, committees and officials. <br /> 1 <br />
