Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mondgy, June 3, 2019 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the Regular Session minutes of Monday, <br /> June 3, 2019 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0-1. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton, abstained Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Hearing—New Seasonal All-Alcoholic Beverages Package Store License: Commons Convenience Inc.: <br /> Paul Tardif: <br /> The Board of Selectmen acting as the Licensing Authority for the Town of Mashpee opened the Public Hearing <br /> on the application of Commons Convenience Inc., Ghulam Rasool, Manager, for a new Seasonal All-Alcoholic <br /> Beverages Package Store License. The location is 414 Nathan Ellis Highway, Mashpee and the property is <br /> described as 4,100 square feet, with one front entrance, and two side fire entrances with panic locks. To conform <br /> to posting requirements, the hearing notice was read aloud into the record. <br /> Paul Tariff, representing attorney was in attendance with Ghulam Rasool to review the license application with <br /> the Board of Selectmen. The applicant has been the manager of the establishment for the past 5 years holding an <br /> Annual Wine and Malt Beverages Package Store License. The application is deemed complete and accurate. <br /> The manager of record has also completed the alcohol service training course. <br /> The application before the Board of Selectmen is for a new Seasonal All-Alcoholic Beverages Package Store <br /> License. As per the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC), if the application is approved the <br /> establishment would be required to surrender the additional Seasonal License upon the expiration date each year. <br /> It was disclosed the subject establishment is equipped with a scanner to scan all forms of identification. <br /> Being no comment, the Board of Selectmen motioned as follows; <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to close the Public Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> 2 <br />
