In
accordance with posting procedures the hearing notice was read aloud into the record.
Ray Levendusky, Vice-President of the Seabrook Village Association was in attendance to review the proposed
parking ban located off Red Brook Road with Surf Drive serving as the access/egress to the subdivision.
Mr. Levendusky requested the Selectmen's consideration to restrict overnight parking in the subdivision which is
now a public way. It was noted that road conditions are very good however there are narrow areas and
noticeable blind spots which pose a safety hazard at night. Lighting is also minimal and parking on the
subdivision streets is generally avoided.
Mr. Levendusky indicated in accord with the Declaration of Covenants and Bylaws for the association, overnight
parking is not permitted. The 2006 regulation has been well respected in the neighborhood and it was voted
upon and approved by a majority of the (157) association members.
The Public Hearing notice was noted to be posted on the Sea Brook Village Association's website.
