Collins indicated he has been attempting to address the noise concern of the <br /> Ashumet Road residents. There is a distinct possibility a sound barrier could be installed around the <br /> fencing to mitigate the noise. The Pickleball Courts is a CPA funded project and monies are available <br /> within the budget to purchase the sound barrier material to be installed by the Department of Public <br /> Works. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to authorize the Town to purchase and install the sound <br /> barrier around the Pickleball Courts with the use of available CPA funding. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> Discussion and Approval of the Following Special Event Temporary Sign Permit and One-Day <br /> Liquor License Applications: <br /> Special Event, One Dqy Liquor License and Temporary Sign Permit Applications: <br /> La Tavola, August 9 2019 - Mashpee Chamber of Commerce Mary Lou Palumbo: <br /> Mary Lu Palumbo was in attendance on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce to request approval of <br /> the Annual La Tavola event planned to be held on August 9, 2019 in Mashpee Commons at 64 Steeple <br /> Street in front of the Mashpee Library. The Special Event Application requests a One-Day Liquor <br /> License and a Temporary Sign Permit for (2) banners. This event has been held in the Town of <br /> Mashpee for the past 12 years. This is the only large fundraising event planned for the Mashpee <br /> Chamber of Commerce. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Special Event Application to include a One- <br /> Day Liquor License and Temporary Sign Permit of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce for the <br /> Annual La Tavola on Friday,August 9, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 64 Steeple Street, <br /> Mashpee subject to the appropriate sign-off from regulatory officials. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> 11 <br />
