Taylor, Assistant Town Manager requested an article placement on the October warrant to <br /> accept a deed in lieu of taxes for property located at Main Street Rear. This property is sited along the <br /> Santuit River and abuts the Town of Barnstable. <br /> Assure Compliance with Rental Property Regulations and Permit Requirements: Andrew Gottlieb: <br /> Board of Selectmen Chair Andrew R. Gottlieb recommended an article for inclusion on the October <br /> warrant to ensure compliance with rental property regulations and permit requirements. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to include the addition of(5) Articles as referenced for <br /> inclusion on the October 21, 2019 Town Meeting Warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Assembly of Delegates: The County anticipates purchasing a new dredge for operation in the fall. <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Santuit Pond: The phytoplankton bloom has subsided, and the health advisory has been lifted. <br /> Pickleball Court: Research was conducted regarding the use of the sound barrier proposed to mitigate <br /> sound at the Ashumet Road Pickleball Courts. It has been confirmed the material will provide relief to <br /> the residents.
