*DRAFT* B O S MINUTES JULY 22, 2019 6 Board of Selectmen Minutes July 22, 2019 APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS Public Hearin : Reconfi uration of Shellfish Aquaculture Area in Ockwgy Ba Lisa Bohnenber er: The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing to consider the reconfiguration of the Shellfish Aquaculture area in Ockway Bay proposed by Lisa Bohnenberger. The reconfiguration would be an improvement to navigation. To conform to posting procedures, the Hearing notice was read aloud into the record. Lisa Bohnenberger, 103 River Road was in attendance to review the proposed reconfiguration of the Shellfish Aquaculture area in Ockway Bay to assist the navigational needs of the surrounding shoreline homeowners. The proposed reconfiguration changes the placement based on the bathymetry and depth of the surrounding area. Ashley Fisher, Shellfish Constable was present to review the proposal with the Board of Selectmen. Ms. Fisher has worked with the applicant to shift the grant to the southwest corner to allow the shoreline residents to gain access to deeper waters. The proposal is deemed more favorable to facilitate navigation. The Shellfish Commission and waterways Commission were noted to have approved the changes proposed to the Bohnenberger Shellfish Aquaculture License Application. There was no public comment regarding this request. Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to close the Public Hearing. Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton, VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0.
