Town Manager requested to follow up with a plan. <br /> DNR and W WC articles on j et skis are similar, remove one of the articles <br /> Petition Article, Obtain clarity from Town Counsel. <br /> Discussion of Addition of the Followin Articles to the October 21 2019 Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed the following (5) articles not submitted by Town Departments. <br /> Pol st rene Reduction Bylaw: at the request of the Environmental Oversight Committee: <br /> Single-Use Plastic Straw Ban: at the request of the Environmental Oversi ht Committee: <br /> Michael Talbot was in attendance representing the Environmental Oversight Committee to recommend <br /> the above referenced articles for inclusion on the October warrant. New Bylaws are proposed to restrict <br /> the use of two common, hard forms of plastic, polystyrene and plastic straws which are an extension of <br /> the plastic bag bylaw passed by the Town of Mashpee. This effort would help clean the oceans and <br /> lands of plastic and protect wildlife. <br /> Illicit Connections and Discharges to The Munici-pal Storm Drain System B law: Catherine Laurent: <br /> Correspondence from. Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works dated July 15, 2019 recommended a <br /> General Bylaw for the October warrant to eliminate illicit connections and discharges to the Town's <br /> stormwater system, and ultimately into the Town's surface and ground waters. <br />
