Her status was recently renewed automatically. In speaking with Mrs. Simpson, I requested a letter/email from her to state her intent to resign from the Commission. A letter has not been provided and there has been no response from Mrs. Simpson in this regard, despite repeated requests for said letter. BACKGROUND--. Mrs. Simpson has communicated her intent to resign as an Associate member of the Conservation Commission via social mediarivate e sent to me via Facebook). I tried to request an email or � message letter stating her resignation,but there has been nothing provided. Mrs Simpson has not attended a conservation commission meeting in the last 3 months (d meetings over that span). This includes a meeting where we struggled to have a quorum and she did not respond to our request to have her attend to make a quorum. (another associate member stepped up and attended). Mrs. Si.Inpson has not provided any communications as to her attendance at any given meeting,which is unacceptable. RECOMMENDATION: In the absence of a letter of resignation, I am recommending the Board of Selectmen authorize Mrs, Simpson's resignation based on her verbal communication to resign via social media contact PROS: Acceptance of resignation without the need for further attempts to attain a letter of resignation as the intent to resign has been made clear by Mrs. Simpson.
