COUNCIL ON AGING MINUTES <br /> MEETING MAY 15, 2019 <br /> MASHPEE SENIOR CENTER <br /> Present: Council on Aging Members: David Egel, Marijo Gorney, Norah <br /> McCormick, Virginia McIntyre and Council on Aging Director Lynne Waterman <br /> Absent: Jean Noussee, Lauren Haddad <br /> Also Present: Town Manager Rodney Collins, Assistant Town Manager Wayne <br /> Taylor <br /> Chairman David Egel opened the meeting at 9:00 a.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April 10, 2019 <br /> Motion: Marijo Gorney moved to approve the April 10, 2019 minutes, seconded <br /> by Norah McCormick. Vote 3-0-1 with Virginia McIntyre abstaining. <br /> Public Comment— None <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Director's Report <br /> The Director distributed her report for the month of April. She highlighted she met with <br /> several leaders of various ongoing activities. She thanked the DPW for their work at the <br /> Senior Center. The Director, Outreach Coordinator, and Mini Bus Driver met to discuss <br /> and review transportation services. <br /> The Director reviewed the meetings she attended: Staff, Department Head, Mashpee <br /> Inclusion and Diversity Committee. She also participated in a meeting for Mashpee <br /> Public Library strategic planning. The Director and Outreach Coordinator met with <br /> Mashpee Village's new Residents Services Coordinator. <br /> The Director stated that she and the Volunteer and Program Support Coordinator began <br /> working on the annual volunteer recognition event. The Director and Outreach <br /> Coordinator worked together in complex situations involving Mashpee older adults and <br /> their care partners. <br /> The Director noted she is working on the budgets associated with the end of the fiscal <br /> year. She and the staff met with an audio-visual specialist. She thanked the Office <br />
