McQuaid informed the Board he <br /> will attend the meeting as Mr. Wasil l s 1992 special permit <br /> renewal for the operation of Dick & Ellie's- Flea Market is <br /> scheduled also, the new tenant of the site formerly known as <br /> "Pickwiok•s" is scheduled on their agenda. ' Plans for the <br /> restaurant have not been received by this office., " <br /> Acknowledged <br /> DISCU SI <br /> Munici"a rash - Mr. Costa relayed he was contacted by Mr. <br /> Polsi regarding the disposal of municipal trash at the town <br /> Transfer Station. "I informed Mr. Polsi a study was con- <br /> ducted by the D.P.W. at which time it was. determined <br /> uneconomical. <br /> Discussion took place in regards to whether it would be <br /> feasible for the landfill contractor to dispose of municipal <br /> trash at the Transfer Station. <br /> Mr. Doherty directed Mr. McQuaid to research the number <br /> of pickups per week and current fees for disposal of mu- <br /> nicipal trash. <br /> Lead int at Davis School <br /> Mr. Costa recommended the County test the interior o <br /> the Davis School for lead. <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board school systems are exempt <br /> rom. State requirements. <br /> Mr, Costa stated this information should be available to <br /> residents of the town. <br /> Mr, Greelish stated if lead is found in the school this <br /> Board is required to address the issue. "The fact that ,:lead <br /> exists does not mean there is 4a health hazard to, children, ", <br /> Board members agreed to request the County to perform a <br /> lead .analysis on all levels in the Davis School, , should , the <br /> analysis reveal lead paint this Board ,.will prepare a .mews re' - <br /> lease for the press. <br />
