MINUTES March 12 , 1992 3 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Fisher stated he is proposing the use of a rotis- serie for ,the sale of cooked chickenpand fish. "The market would remain takeout with R no "Lseatin 'available, " Mr, McQuaid questioned Mr. Fisher as to what is cur- r ent l 's l,d , t the t Erna rke t.. - Mr. Fisher- responded fish, homemade potato salad and coleslaw. Mr. McQuaid informed Mr. Fisher- he was unaware the po- tato salad and coleslaw were made on premises. "This type o food preparation would require a food establishment license, as well as, the installation of an additional bathroom and a three compartment sink. " Mr, Fisher questioned the Board as to whether his estab- lishment could remain retail if he purchased ready-made cole- slaw and potato salad. 'Chicken and fish would be the only food items cooked on premises.. Mro McQuaid stated if raw chicken and raw fish ispur- chased then cooked, in my opinion, - it would not constitute the processing of food as it does not involve multiple han- dling. Mr. Greelish stated he is agreeable to the request for rotisserie however, no food products other than fish or chicken may be cooked on premises. Beard members agreed. APPOINTMENT: William Zammer - 'Sailor's Restaurants' Mr, Zammer was in attendance for this scheduled appoint- ment. Mr. Costa explained, a discrepancy was found regarding the location of the existing leaching facility at the site formerly known as "Pickwick's" . "There is a possibility the system is looted within the road layout of Lonna' Lane. " Mr. McQuaid informed Board members the firm of B.S,S. Design delineated the leaching facility within Donna's Dare road layout however, according to the engineering firm o Cape & Islands, who verified the location of the system, it rums alongside but not within the road layout.
