� * i <br /> 4 <br /> r <br /> MINUTES July 30, 1992 2 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> ' - <br /> i <br /> Mr, Greelish stated the owner is required to sign the <br /> i affidavit which agrees to no increase in habitable space uln- <br /> til engineered plans are submitted., <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Edward Baler - Public water service to <br /> Pirate's Cover <br /> Mr. Baker was in attendance- for this scheduled appoint- <br /> ment, <br /> ppoiant- <br /> tent. <br /> Mr, Baker relayed he is concerned with the quality of <br /> water in the Pirate's Core area. 'The Water District has re- <br /> vised their master plan and no longer designates Pirate's <br /> Core as a critical water quality area and therefore is not <br /> eligible to receive public water until the year - 2000, 11 "1 am <br /> requesting the Board forward a letter of support to the Water <br /> Distract to reinstate Pirates Cove as originally proposed on <br /> the master plan. <br /> Mr. Cree l ish explained to Mr, Baler that there are other <br /> areas in town which are considered critical . "In order for <br /> this Board to support a petition submitted by the _ residents <br /> of Pirate's Cove a trend, which indicates a water quality <br /> problem, must be established. " <br /> Ir, Baler commented the original data that was utilized <br /> in 1987 to creme the master plan indicated a water quality <br /> problem. <br /> Mr. Doherty explained, other areas are showing a greater <br /> need for publid water service. <br /> Ir . McQuaid stated the Pirate's Cove area does not indi_ <br /> nate any primary contaminants in the water supply. "Second- <br /> ary contaminants, which are aesthetic in nature werefound. " <br /> "The Water District is holding a public hearing to discuss <br /> the revised master plan, " "I would recommend residents at- <br /> tend to 'express their concerns a ll <br /> Board members agreed to forward a letter of .support to <br /> the I a hpee Water District for public water service to the <br /> residents of the Pirate's Cove. <br /> APPOI_ 'I�ENT: Mark Pare - Willo bend Treatment Plant <br /> Mr. Dark Pare and Mr., .,.Norman Grossman, F. . were in at- <br /> tendance for this scheduled appointment* <br />
