V. AUTHORITY 0 The MOIMHA is acting through its Board of Directors as authorized by its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. 0 The Town is a municipal corporation and political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts located in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. The Town is acting by its Board of Selectman as authorized by the Maher Town Meeting. VI. MATCHING FUND RE,QUIR E MENTS a. The terms of the match are for every $1.00 of the Feasibility & Technical Assistance Grant that is awarded by the Mass Cultural Council (MCC), the MOIMHA is required to raise an additional $1.00 as the matched, amount. b. The Town hereby commits to providing to the MOIMHA, the required Matching Funds of$,30,000.00 (the "Matching Funds") for a feasibility study related to the Mashpee Parsonage Restoration Project. Said feasibility study shall be completed within eight (8) months oft e date hereof. c. The MOi �IMHA coo to utilizing the Matching Funds solely for the MCC feasibility study related to the Mashpee Parsonage Restoration Project. d. The Feasibility & Technical Assistance Grant is being awarded with the understanding that at the end of the grant period it is expected that the Matching Funds will have been expended or earmarked for the Mashp�ee Parsonage Restoration Project. Proof of'payment for the Project will be verified either by receipts or attestation of such payment by an officer of the MOI HA Board of Directors. e. None of the Matching Funds are funds from state government, loan proceeds, or operating funds expended by the MOIMHA for mortgage interest, fundraising costs or other operating activities (provided however that public funds appropriated to a project do not constitute loan proceeds). f. The Matching Funds were appropriated by the Mas,hpee Special i r-i I own Meeting in May 2019. g. The CPA Matching Funds are currently being held at [name of bank, investment company etcetera] and are immediately available for use on the Project.
