-2-
Isaiah Thomas Bookstore requested additional copies of Rosemary's second book for sale.
Rosemary came in and signed the 20 copies requested. Nancy will deliver them to the book
store.
Ava'reported that the 150th Anniversary Committee will be meeting on June 20. She is looking
for HC members to help with recommendations to go into the time capsule. Also, if other issues
come up, she is looking for the HC to be available to volunteer and assist in any way possible.
Members gave positive consent to that request.
Preservation Award Ceremony was discussed; DPW will deliver 10 folding chairs, Richard will
bring four chairs from his home; at the time of the meeting 25 people had RSPV they were
coming. Ava reported she will pick up baked goods from Joan the morning of the ceremony.
Rita Gonsalves, Native Times Coffee, will have her company donate the coffee and peach
cobbler and will take care of set up and serving during the ceremony. Richard reported all
plaques have been received, but he is concerned about the wood laser plaque to be placed in
the schoolhouse in honor of Frank Lord as it is very hard to read. He will follow up with the
company.
Ava said the committee assignments for the 2019-2020 year will be brought up at the July
meeting. Members should look over the list and responsibilities.
Rosemary made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:45 pm, and Richard seconded the motion.
Respectfully submitted, t/
Richard DeSorgher
