Bradbury, Recreation Director was in attendance to request approval of a Special Event <br /> Application for the Mashpee Police Relief Fund Pickleball Round Robin Tournament. The 64 player Round <br /> Robin Tournament and Fundraiser is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019 with a rain date <br /> of October 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mashpee Pickleball Courts. It is estimated that 60- <br /> 70 participants will attend the event to assist the Mashpee Police Relief Fund. All necessary regulatory <br /> agencies have signed off on the Special Event Application. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to approve the Special Event Application of the Mashpee <br /> Recreation and Mashpee Police Department for the Mashpee Police Relief Fund Pickleball Round <br /> Robin Tournament/Fundraiser as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br /> Temporary Sign Permit: Run for Cancer AKA Gi's Rooster Run: October 12, 2019: Heather Manuel: <br /> A Temporary Sign Permit modification was presented to the Board of Selectmen for approval. The 3.4 mile <br /> Race for Cancer, also known as GI's Rooster Run was approved by the Selectmen at their July 8, 2019 <br /> meeting. Heather Manuel of South Shore Race Management, the event sponsor requested the Board allow a <br /> modification of the permit to include one additional 18'x24" sign to be placed at the start of the race. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to amend the Temporary Sign Permit to include an additional <br /> sign as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Opposed, none <br />
