10 Community Preservation Committee Minutes June 20, 2019 Meeting re-convened: 7:06 p.m. L Christine Marano Proposed Title: Acquisition of 12 Cypress Circle: (continued) Motion made by Mr. Larkin ratify the sale of the property identified as 12 Cypress Circle, Mashpee for$100,000 with funds to be held and expended under the care and custody of the Affordable Housing Trust ("Trust") Board of Trustees for the purpose of funding Affordable Housing. Funding shall derive from the 10% Affordable Housing Reserve. Motion seconded by Mr. Halpern. VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. Roll Call Vote: Mr. Gottlieb,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes Mr. Halpern,yes Mr. Larkin,yes Ms. Waygan,yes Mr. Harsch,yes Opposed, none It was agreed the Community Preservation Committee would request the Board of Selectmen submit a Request for Interest regarding the 12 Cypress Circle property, and consider an RFP for Land Disposition. COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE At-Large Vacancy: Currently there is (1)At-Large vacant position. COMMUNICATION & CORRESPONDENCE David Weeden Mashpee Parsonage Project—Matching Fund Grant Application; Request for Award Letter and Supplemental Documentation from CPC confirming the Commitment of MatchingFunds: unds: David Weeden, Deputy Tribal Historic Preservation Officer was in attendance to request a letter of support from the Community Preservation Committee for a matching fund grant. The Mashpee Old Indian Meeting House Authority has received a grant through the Mass Cultural Council/Mass Development Cultural Facilities Fund in the amount of$30,000. To obtain the granting funding, the match along with supporting documentation from the CPC is required. Mr. Weeden indicated the grant would allow the project to proceed to solicit Request for Proposal's to fund the Historic Structures Report, an integral part of the project.
