6 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> June 20, 2019 <br /> Christine Marano <br /> Proposed Title: Acquisition of 12 Cypress Circle: (continued) <br /> Charles Rowley, the Town's Consulting Engineer conducted a site inspection in September of <br /> 2018 to assess the condition of Fox Hill Road and Cypress Circle in anticipation of the release of <br /> the former Recreation and Green Space lot from the covenant. As long as minimum <br /> requirements are met, either of the two sides of the street may be used for frontage. <br /> In considering this parcel, the Community Preservation Committee conducted a real estate <br /> appraisal. The opinion of value as of December 19, 2018 was $110,000. The Town of Mashpee <br /> 2019 assessed value for this property is $102,900. <br /> It was the recommendation of the CPC Chairman to declare the open meeting would have a <br /> detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the CPC, it was therefore recommended the CPC <br /> enter into Executive Session at this time to consider the purchase of 12 Cypress Circle. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Larkin to adjourn at 6:40 p.m. The Community Preservation <br /> Committee will enter into Executive Session at this time to consider the purchase, <br /> exchange, lease or value of real property identified as 12 Cypress Circle, Mashpee provided <br /> that the Chair overtly declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the <br /> negotiating position of the public body. Following discussion, the CPC will reconvene in <br /> Open Session. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Halpern. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Gottlieb,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes Mr. Halpern,yes Mr. Larkin,yes <br /> Ms. Waygan,yes Mr. Harsch,yes Opposed, none <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Kathleen M.
