for diversity. The mitigation looks great from the other COC. An,aggregate is needed to break
up the runoff. What's offered exceeds mitigation standards.
No public comment.
Motion: Mr. Smith moved to close and issue, Mr. Sweet seconded.
Vote: 5-0 unanimous
6:24 Sandra H. Weiner, Trustee, 107 Tide Run. Proposed septic system upgrade with associated RDA
landscaping and hardscaping.
Carmen Shay from Carmen Shay Environmental Services represented the applicant. The septic
system failed the Board of Health regulations. They would like to put in a new septic system
and restore to pretty much what you see now. Agent said. Board of Health does have the
application on file for review. This is pretty straight forward. Mr. Shay said the Board of Health
already issued the permit. Mr. Sweet mentioned they should talk to the homeowners
association just as a friendly neighbor. Agent had no other comments.
Motion: Mr. Sweet moved for a negative determination, Mr. Smith seconded.
Vote: 5-0 unanimous
6:27 Richard H. Sahl, Sonya L. Lachance, Barry A. Sahl & Lois S. Sahl, 351 Monomoscoy RDA
Road. Proposed demolition, reconstruction and expansion of garage and modification of
subsurface sewage disposal septic system.
Tom Bunker from BSS Design represented the applicant. He presented plans to tear down the
existing garage and build a larger 3 bay garage. It's mostly in the existing footprint of the existing
garage and driveway, little to no increase in coverage. There was already a septic system
upgrade, hasn't gone to the Board of Health yet, but there are no variances required. The
Agent asked if the septic upgrade was in anticipation of possible accessory apartment. Mr.
Bunker answered, yes, but there are no plans for such at this time. The Agent.said he would
like to see the trees flagged, just so we're all on the same page.
Motion: Mr. Sweet moved for a negative determination pending the Board of Health
approval, Mr. Dalton seconded.
Vote: 5-0 unanimous
6:30 Robert E. & Leslie O'Malley, 151 Timberlane Drive. Proposed demolition and reconstruction RDA
of decks within same footprint.
Lou DeMayo represented the applicant. The homeowners just purchased the house and have
a lot to do. The deck and balconies need to be brought up to code. Not changing the footprint,
just reinforcing what already exists. The Agent said this is pretty straightforward. There's no
impact to the top of bank at all. He did say to look at some Beech trees within inches of the
deck.
Motion: Mr. Sweet moved for a negative determination, Mr. Smith seconded.
Vote: 5-0 unanimous
6:33 Patricia A. Cowhig, 3 Bight Circle. Request Certificate of Compliance 43-2286. COC
6:36 Steven D. Cuyler&Joann Burk, 157 Monomoscoy Road.
