The Town of Mashpee has precluded(2) <br /> of its retail establishments from producing edibles, no retail sales. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to authorize Town Manager Rodney C. Collins to enter into a <br /> Host Community Agreement with Ocean Grown Canna Collective (OGCC,LLC) for the siting of a <br /> Marijuana Cultivation/Product Manufacturing Establishment in the Town of Mashpee with the ' <br /> stipulation to exclude the manufacturing and/or sales of edibles. No retail sales. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: 4-1. Motion carries.. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, no Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, (1) <br /> Discussion and Approval of Contract for Needs and Siting Assessment and Analysis for Department of <br /> Natural Resources Building• Department of Public Works Director Catherine Laurent: <br /> Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works was in attendance to recommend the Board award a contract <br /> for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR)facility feasibility study/site selection to Weston& <br /> Sampson Engineers, Inc. in the amount of$29,500. <br /> One proposal was received for the $30,000 Capital Improvement Project recommended by the Planning <br /> & Construction Committee and approved by a vote of the May 2019 Town Meeting. <br /> Ms. Laurent indicated that further study would ensure the construction of a facility would meet the <br /> existing and future needs of the DNR. The analysis and study would be reviewed on all available Town <br /> properties. With completion of the study, design and construction funding would be sought. <br /> It was noted that initially the Ockway Bay Boat Ramp site was considered for the location of the facility. <br /> It was determined the Ockway site may not be the appropriate site for the DNR Resources facility. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve a contract with Weston &Sampson in the amount <br /> of$29,500 for the Needs'and Siting Assessment and Analysis for the Department of Natural <br /> Resources building as recommended. " <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br /> VOTE: 4-1.
