11 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 18, 2019 <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> JBCC Update: At the last Joint Base Cape Cod meeting there was discussion regarding the replacement of <br /> the Bourne and Sagamore bridges. It is recommended the State move forward with the new construction <br /> replacing the Sagamore bridge first. The estimated time frame to begin construction is 5 years. <br /> At the meeting there was a brief discussion regarding wastewater. Currently, there are two bids and it is <br /> hopeful an entity would be selected by the end of 2019. <br /> Assembly of Delegates: Regarding the proposal to eliminate the three-member Board of County <br /> Commissioners,there has been a level of dissatisfaction amongst the members. In other business, it was <br /> reported the County Dredge course is on schedule. <br /> Community Preservation Committee: The CPC voted to recommend (3)projects to Town Meeting in May. <br /> The (4"')project application requires additional information and will be heard by the committee in January. <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Wastewater: The Finance Team is scheduled to attend the next Wastewater Meeting on Monday, <br /> November 25, 2019. Late-filed communication from the Finance Team with respect to this regard was <br /> distributed.
