8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 18, 2019 <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Discussion and Approval of Overnight Parking Ban (discussion continued from November 4, 2019) on <br /> Surf Drive Tradewind Drive, Leeshore Drive, Sextant Circle, Sandy Way, Driftwood Way, Barnacle Lane <br /> and Albatross Circle, Hours for Overnight Parking Ban: <br /> The Board of Selectmen continued discussions from their November 4, 2019 meeting to set the hours of <br /> the Overnight Parking Ban in Seabrook Village. Defined hours will allow enforcement of the ban. <br /> It was agreed the Board of Selectmen would set policy for future Overnight Parking Bans from Midnight <br /> (12:00 p.m.) until 6:00 a.m. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to set the hours of the Overnight Parking Ban in Seabrook <br /> Village effective from Midnight until 6:00 a.m. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion and Approval of Appointment of the Following: <br /> Community Preservation Act Committee; Member-at-Large (Term Expires: June 30, 2020): Barbara Lynne <br /> Barbee: <br /> The Community Preservation Committee voted unanimously on November 7, 2019 to recommend the <br /> appointment of Barbara Lynne Barbee to fill the current Member-at-Large vacancy. <br /> Ms. Barbee was in attendance to review her interest in community involvement. Ms. Barbee grew up in a <br /> military family and is now making Mashpee her first home. Upon retirement Ms. Barbee became a full- <br /> time resident in 2014 and currently serves as a member of the Human Services Committee. She is deeply <br /> committed to public service and giving back to the community. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Weeden to appoint Barbara Lynne Barbee to the Community <br /> Preservation Committee as an at-large member for a term to expire; June 30,2020. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br />
