9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 18, 2019 <br /> Sewer Commission-, Precinct 2 (Term Expires: June 30, 2022): Anne Malone: <br /> At their meeting of November 7, 2019 the Sewer Commission voted unanimously to recommend the <br /> appointment of Anne Malone to the Sewer Commission as a Precinct 2 representative. <br /> Ms. Malone is a retired professional executive and is interested in contributing to the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Wastewater management and environmental stewardship is the most pressing issue facing the Town. Ms. <br /> Malone's experience includes working with non-profit organizations with roles in communications and <br /> public relations. Ms. Malone does not have a direct background in this field, but she is a good study and is <br /> impressed with the experience of the present Board of Sewer Commissioners. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to appoint Anne Malone to the Sewer Commission representing <br /> Precinct 2 for a term to expire; June 30, 2022. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Capital Improvement Program Committee; Member-at-Large (Term Expires: June 30 2020): Edmund <br /> Sarno: <br /> Edmund Sarno was in attendance to discuss his interest in serving on the Capital Improvement Program <br /> (CIP) Committee. Mr. Sarno has a background in technical sales and marketing including the management <br /> of corporate budgets. Mary Lou Palumbo, Executive Director of the <br /> Chamber was in attendance to review the special events planned over the holiday. <br /> The Season of Illumination will begin with the lighting of the Mashpee Rotary on Friday,November 29, <br /> 2019. The lights will remain until Wednesday, January 1, 2019. The Annual Holiday Parade is scheduled <br /> to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Deer Crossing,traveling <br /> along Route 28, ending at the Mashpee Commons. <br />
