a' <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Sheldon Holzer stated he has a short discussion that should be in Executive Session for <br /> the purpose of reviewing an abatement application. <br /> At 5:55 p.m. Paul Andrews motioned that the Board go into Executive session for the <br /> purpose of review of abatement applications; Gregg Fraser seconded the motion; and it <br /> was unanimously approved. <br /> Vote: <br /> Paul Andrews-Yes <br /> Sheldon Holzer-Yes <br /> Gregg Fraser-Yes <br /> At 6 p.m. the Board reconvened the Public Session. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Correspondence <br /> Jason Streebel presented a May 13, 2009 letter he received from New Seabury on Cape <br /> Cod addressed to the Mashpee Board of Assessors. Chairman Paul Andrews and <br /> Board members read the letter and expressed their appreciation at receiving a nice letter <br /> such as this. Copy of the letter is attached to the printed set of these minutes. <br /> 2. Release of Overlay to the Overlay Surplus Account <br /> Jason Streebel submitted a request to release funds from the overlay accounts fund to <br /> the overlay surplus account. A copy of the written request is attached to the printed set <br /> of these minutes. <br /> Motion: Gregg Fraser motioned that the Board of Assessors hereby request <br /> release from the Town of Mashpee's Reserve for Abatement Accounts (Overlay <br /> Accounts) to the Town of Mashpee's Overlay Surplus funds in the following <br /> amounts for the following Fiscal Years: <br /> 2007 -$100,000.00 <br /> 2008 -$100,000.00 <br /> Sheldon Holzer seconded this motion; and it was unanimously passed. <br /> NEXT MEETING <br /> The next meeting for the Board of Assessors was set for Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at <br /> 5:45 p.m. at Mashpee Town Hall. <br /> As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:01 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> �/ <br /> Jean Giliberti 4? r-'V' <br /> Acting Recording Secretary for <br /> Ina G.
