Scott plans to put an 18' path to the garage from the road. The
requirements (under fire code) for fire truck access is 20' wide and
13.6' high from a paved road. The By-law requires 12' wide and 16'
clearance. There is existing town water to the house. He has the
option to continue Town water or install a well. The well would need
to be inspected before a building permit is issued. He will need a
ZBA review and approval. The Planning Department will need to see
parking spaces and detailed drawings showing the driveway. Eric
suggested decreasing the living space by 10% to meet the 40%
requirement for apartment living space. Be mindful that a well permit
may take a few weeks to obtain.
Minutes of October 8, 2004 were passed until the next meeting.
A revised copy of these Minutes will be distributed to all the members
in their mailboxes at Town Hall after the meeting today.
Also, a review of the Erosion and Sedimentation Control handout
from DPW will be put on the next meeting agenda.
NEXT MEETING: NOVEMBER 12, 2004
Adjourned 11:10 a.m.
Mary elsthorpe, ecording Secretary
