Dennis said he wants to be sure we can develop solutions with the DCPC. He does not want t spend all this time if nothing will happen in reality. He is not sure the DCPC will correct the problems. Torn said some arguments in favor of the DCPC are that it gives you higher status when seeking State grants and the Cape Cod Commission staff would have to work with the town. If the Selectmen a decide to nominate a DCPC it goes to the County to accept the nomination. The town and County decide what should be subject to a moratorium during consideration, exempt is single family homes, existing special permits and anything in the fRI review process. f it is decided that a DCPC will be created', the Commission will help the town develop ghat has to be done, what regulations need to be adopted. Those new regulations go to town meeting for approval._ In Falmouth town meeting did not pass the new rules so the DCPC is in limbo. Dennis made a notion to nominate Tom Fudala as the Sewer Commission's representative to the DCPC Committee. There was no second of this motion. Tom made a notion to nominate Dennis as the Sewer Commission"s representative to the DCPC Committee. Dennis seconded the motion. Torn was in favor,Dennis was in favor. The next meeting of the DCPC Committee is April 29"at 6:00 p.m. Tam distributed a listing, from DEP, of all alternative septic system technology approved for use with an explanation of each. - Brochure from Earth Tech who offer total water management.
