Howes thought different proposals misinterpreted different things; some were clearly better <br /> than others. <br /> John thought the proposals were directed towards the pipeline project and not alternatives. <br /> r. Howes said they all have to consider that but that is not all they have to consider. <br /> John was pleased the RFP included wa uoit flay watershed. <br /> The Commission agreed to schedule interviews for r <br /> Thursday, January 28 and Friday, January 2 <br /> t 2:30 and 330 each day. <br /> r. Howes said some firms were strong on the engineering, other strong on environmental <br /> issues, some in between. He would like to see certain selection criteria including: firma has <br /> completed design and construction project; have commitment of time and staff. Staff that has the <br /> time to do this wort ; how many staff will they use. Dr. Hoes' preference is for fewer people <br /> spending more time. <br /> Tom said we can ask them to b ng to the interview the hours to be spent on the-project, by <br /> employee. <br /> r. Howes would also life to see local tics. <br /> Tom said all four firms have connections to the area. <br /> The members agreed they should have another meeting, after reviewing the proposals in more <br /> detail,before the interviews. <br /> The members agreed to meet at 1-30 on Thursday. <br /> Tom said it is important that we get what we need. we should be careful that the firm does not <br /> just repeat hack the RFP, with no value added. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m. <br /> NEXT UEETING SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, JA NUA Y 28 AT 1:30 P.M. <br /> INTERVIEW SCHEDULED FOR 2.3 01 .M. <br /> Minutes submitted by Arden R.
