Tom explained that we
are.row seeking SR'funds and we may want to keep that in the contract as a contingency. He
asked S&W's opinion.
S&W said the contract can be set up for the total amount but break out what can be authorized at
and time, then the hydrogeo work may or may not happen.
Tom asked if it could be used for hydrogeo work or contingency's A change within the total
authorization of SRC' ceding once the total allocation is set aside is usually not a big deal with
DER You must get their concurrence ahead of time.
Tom said this plan is contingent on Mashpee getting SRF loan. There is a lot of work to get that
.loan and we are asking S&W to do that. An article for free cash at October town meeting would
be our only other option. DEP wants a lot of information on the problem and Dr. Hoes' wort ,
e will need to produce a report on his work. "fora will talk to Dr. Howes about what we need
from him for the SRC' loan package.
Tom asked S&W to work out the GIS details with the Assistant town planner.
Phase 1: S&W said this is the same language as the RFP but consultant is replaced with engineer.
Watershed ed oundaries Map: Worn said the current boundaries from.the CCC are going to change.
He would like to add language that the new boundaries will be received from the Cape Cod
Commission. That should be done before submitting SRF package.
Tom will get them the latest well reharge boundaries neap by Farb Tech.
Map of current system: Tom will give them as mush as the tin has Willow end, Mashpee
Commons and Stratford fonds) don't have Southport or Windchime.
S&W can review the files at DEP.
Tom asked if the proposal specifically addresses reviewing existing treatment plants? It does in
Phase 2 F, page 4.
Tom asked how they will get information from adjacent towns that is comparable to Mashpee's,
especially seasonality?.
S&W will use Cape Cod Commission data, census data and will meet with Tom to discuss
putting it into comparable form.
l
