10 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> December 2, 2019 <br /> Certification of Firefighter/EMT Hiring Process of Nicholas Trioli: Fire Chief Thomas Rullo: <br /> Correspondence was received from Fire Chief Thomas C. Rullo dated November 26, 2019 <br /> relative to the New Hire Certified Process conducted for the full-time Firefighter/Paramedic <br /> position. <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins confirmed the policies and procedures relative to the Hiring <br /> Process of the Town of Mashpee have been followed. It was recommended the Board certify <br /> and confirm the hiring process for Nicholas Trioli as a Step 1 Firefighter/EMT. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to certify and confirm the Hiring Process relative to <br /> the appointment of Nicholas Trioli as Firefighter/EMT as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Special Events: The annual Holiday Parade is scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 7, <br /> 2019 starting at 5:30 p.m. The Board acknowledged the spectacular lighting display at the <br /> Mashpee Rotary. Appreciation was given to the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce and to the <br /> DPW for their efforts. <br /> Assembly of Delegates: In an effort to move the County dredge process in a forward and <br /> unified process it has been recommended that all Cape town's requiring dredging blend as one <br /> individual voice to possible enhance the permitting process as a team while maintaining cost <br /> effectiveness for the respective communities requiring this service. <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Town Hall Closure: As a reminder,the Mashpee Town Hall is scheduled to be closed on <br /> Tuesday, December 10, 2019 for annual cleaning and organization. <br /> Eagle Scouts Project: To assist the Mashpee community in mosquito control,the Eagle Scouts <br /> have erected bat houses in various locations. The project is impressive and should support the <br /> reduction of mosquitos which foster the Tripe E virus. <br /> MTV Update: The annual Mashpee TV Report is in the Office of the Town Manager for review. <br /> Copies of the report will be made available on request. <br />
