10 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> November 7, 2019 <br /> Movement of funds from CPC to the Affordable HousingTrust rust (AHT): (continued) <br /> It was agreed the certified vote of Town Meeting with respect to the appropriation of funds for <br /> the above referenced articles would be attached to the Contractual Agreement(s). <br /> Motion made by Ms. Waygan to authorize the Chairman of the Community Preservation <br /> Committee to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Affordable Housing <br /> Trust and Community Preservation Committee for the disposition of CPA funds awarded <br /> at the October 2019 Town Meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Halpern. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Gottlieb,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes Mr. Halpern,yes <br /> Mr. Larkin,yes Ms. Waygan,yes Opposed, none <br /> It was noted the Board of Selectmen and Mashpee Housing Authority have executed a <br /> Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the disposition of funds for the Housing Assistance <br /> Program 11 over the intended three-year period. <br /> Discussion followed regarding the appropriation of CPA funds to the Affordable Housing Trust <br /> for affordable housing. The Community Preservation Committee previously agreed to allocate <br /> funding annually. The Committee was advised by CPC member Mary Waygan to consider <br /> retaining Affordable Housing funding from the 10% Reserve category under the course of <br /> assessment currently governed by the Community Preservation Committee and fund the AHT for <br /> emergency purposes only.
