Collins continued discussions on the possible modification of the New <br /> Bedford waste Services (NBWS) contract and the request to amend the existing waste Disposal <br /> Agreement to increase the tip fee to $93.75 per ton for CY2020. The increase from. $60.60 per, <br /> ton represents a detrimental impact to the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Mike Camera, the General Manager of NBWS was in attendance to further discuss the cost increase and <br /> its necessity to continue the viability.of New Bedford waste Services. <br /> There was apprehension from.the Board of Selectmen regarding process with respect to the lack of <br /> communication, and the'demand.requests for a significant increase in funding. <br />
