Marie Stevenson, Winnie Johnson-Graham, Katherine Brown, Gail Wilson, <br /> JoAnn Nadeau, Lynne Waterman, Patty DeBoer, Susan Wilson, William Baker(Non-Voting), <br /> Cheyenne Hendricks (Non-Voting) <br /> Also: Human Resource Director Kim Landry <br /> Absent: Selectman Liaison John Cotton <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was opened by the Chair at 10:00 a.m. with a quorum. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES December 10, 2019 <br /> MOTION: A motion was made by Ms. Waterman to accept the minutes as written. Ms. <br /> Johnson-Graham seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> None at this time. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Ms. Sue Wilson distributed information regarding the 20" Gayla Ball on February 8 and Falmouth's <br /> No Place for Hate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday Breakfast on January 20. Ms. S. <br /> Wilson also included a copy of her acceptance on behalf of Cape Cod PRIDE from the 2019 MLK, Jr. <br /> Breakfast. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> The Chair reintroduced guests Mohammed Fand and Richard Klein, both of whom have expressed <br /> interest in joining the Committee. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Brochure Final Approval-The Chair shared the most recent draft of the brochure, noting that <br /> corrections made previously were not accepted into the program that her friend was using to edit the <br /> document. Ms. DeBoer has offered to take over the final editing of the brochure, but asked that a <br /> version in WORD be sent. Once completed, the Chair will resend the draft to the Committee and <br /> follow up with Ms. DeBoer to then present the document to the Town Manager. It was noted that the <br /> web addresses were still inconsistent. <br /> There was discussion regarding the printing of the brochure and points of distribution. It was <br /> suggested sites where the brochure could be distributed were Town Hall, Chamber of Commerce, <br /> listed organizations, realtors, neighborhood associations, grocery stores, the library, the schools, the <br /> Tribal Center and the Senior Center. It was recommended that the brochure should also be made <br /> available on the Town's website and Ms. Waterman suggested also emailing the brochure to interested <br /> parties so that copies could be made as needed. There was discussion about printing expenses and <br /> numbers, and it was suggested that 250 could be a first printing and the work could be completed by <br /> the schools. There was discussion about including organizations outside of Mashpee and the potential <br />
