Vote 4-0 <br /> unanimous. <br /> Update: Santuit Pond Dredge Feasibility Study (Army Corps of Engineers/Mashpee <br /> Wampanoag Tribe) <br /> The Agent described the possibility of a feasibility study of the Army Corp of Engineers in <br /> cooperation with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe to dredge Santuit Pond and re-use dredge <br /> spoils to create fringe wetlands along the southern end of the pond's shoreline (Santuit Pond <br /> Preserve town owned property) and deposit remaining dredge spoils in identified depression <br /> areas within the preserve. The Agent informed the commission that the town would be <br /> willing to be a co-sponsor of this project if it comes to fruition as it involves town owned <br /> property. There was some back and forth questions/answers between commissioners and <br /> the Agent. The Agent said he will continue to update the commission on the progress of this <br /> initiative moving forward. <br /> Update: Enforcement Order- 44 Sandy Fox Way <br /> The Agent described an Enforcement situation with homeowners at 44 Sandy Fox Way who <br /> expanded their backyard into existing conservation land (Besse Bog Conservation land). <br /> Specifically, expansion of lawn, installation of bocce ball court and portion of a playground. <br /> The Agent informed the commission that staff is following up with the homeowner to achieve <br /> compliance which will involve confirmation of property boundary and removal of all <br /> structures/landscaping within the encroached area combined with replanting of native <br /> species. <br /> Informational Update: Acknowledgement of Receipt, Conflict of Interest Laws. The Agent <br /> reminded the commissioners to sign and submit the Acknowledgement of Receipt forms <br /> issued by Human Resources Dept regarding the Conflict of Interest Laws of Massachusetts. <br /> All commissioners are required to take and pass the online test for MA Conflict of Interest <br /> laws. <br /> Informational Update: The Agent reminded the commissioners to attend two meetings on <br /> January 14th and 15th regarding the future of wastewater management in Mashpee. <br /> Meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. each night and take place in the main conference room at <br /> Town Hall. <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Dalton. Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> Meeting Adjourned 7:15 p.m. <br />
