Motion: Mr. Sweet moved for a Negative Determination and Mr. Dalton seconded the <br /> motion. Vote: 4-0 unanimous <br /> 6:12 National Grid, 6 & 32 Jehu Pond Rd. Proposed extension of natural gas main <br /> and installation of gas service lines. RDA <br /> Resource Areas: LSCSF, Buffer Zones to BVW, Salt Marsh and Coastal Bank <br /> Amanda Houle of Tighe and Bond described the projects. Installation of gas main and <br /> service extensions within the driveway layouts to each property to supply natural gas to the <br /> homes and cottages on the plan of record. Trenches to be dug to an average of three feet <br /> in depth and widths varying from 1-2.5 inches for the pipes. Straw waddles will be in place <br /> for erosion/runoff control where needed and all disturbances will be regraded. No adverse <br /> impacts to any wetland resource areas. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved a Negative Determination. Mr. Dalton seconded the <br /> motion. Vote 4-0 unanimous. <br /> 6:15 National Grid, 29 Seaview Ave. Proposed extension of natural gas main and <br /> installation of gas service line <br /> Resource Area: Buffer zone to coastal bank (armored), LSCSF and coastal beach <br /> Amanda Houle (Tighe and Bond) represented the applicant and described the project. A <br /> small extension of the gas main towards the end of Seaview Avenue and a service <br /> connection to a single family home. All work taking place within previously disturbed areas <br /> and no impacts to any wetland resource areas. Agent recommended a Negative <br /> Determination. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to Close and Issue, seconded by Mr. Dalton. Vote 4-0 <br /> unanimous <br /> 6:18 Akram E and Marta O. Rafla, 45 Little Neck Ln. Proposed installation of two <br /> separate sections of privacy fence on either side of property lines <br /> Resource Area: Coastal Bank and Buffer Zone to Coastal Bank. <br /> Akram Rafla, homeowner, described the project. He wishes to install two sections of 6 ft <br /> tall privacy fencing. One section fencing is proposed to be 48 feet long on the side of the <br /> property abutting 43 Little Neck Ln and the other section of fence to be 40 feet along the <br /> side of the property abutting 46 Little Neck Ln. The Agent recommended a condition that <br /> both areas of proposed fencing be staked in the field and inspected by conservation staff <br /> prior to construction. The purpose of this staking and inspection is to ensure that no <br /> removal of existing vegetation will be required for fence installations. Commissioner Sweet <br /> asked if this request also includes authorization for the planting of Leyland cypress trees <br /> that were put in without a permit along the coastal bank. The Agent stated that the trees <br /> were installed without a permit but did not involve removal of native vegetation. The trees <br /> are not native but are also not invasive. The Agent asked the homeowner if he knew what <br /> the species of the trees are as they may interfere with the fence over time. The <br />
