information to the public...we are still getting calls from people who have questions about testing <br /> or exposure, we sent that off to VNA so they.can do confidential Investigation...we donated <br /> surprlus PPE to Mashpee EMS leftover from H1N1 clinics,they are all set for now...disseminated <br /> info to long-term care facilities, order resources through region 5 emerg planning area, 'sent <br /> proper guidance on ordering supplies and that process'keeps getting updated so we update them . <br /> each time, request for a program to do on-site testing at long-term care facilities, which there <br /> wasn't at the time but think there is now,just getting ramped up...talked to food establishments <br /> on best practices while they are doing curbside delivery takeout only...maintained our ability to <br /> conduct inspections, invest complaints issue permits continue other essential service swhile <br /> working remotely on the COVID 19 emergency...remain.a confidential office and defer all case <br /> reporting to the DPH or at the discretion of TM updating administration,our message to public is <br /> because confidential knowledge of number of confirmed cases in Mashpee does not change our <br /> guidance to the public, people should assume the virus is widespread in the community and act <br /> accordingly based on state and local guidance...that's how we've been operating...did hear from <br /> Dept of labor standards who contacted us about non-essential businesses that were still operating <br /> and they made a list that BOH will have to follow-up on, and those businesses will have to close, <br /> not received list yet...got a call from johns pond village seasonal camp ground,let them know they <br /> will not be able to open except to house people insupport of covid 19 response...southport <br /> woman offered to make masks, definitely a need...state closed state beaches, but we have not <br /> closed beaches, do want people to get out of the house safely and walk/exercise to relieve <br /> stress/anxiety...parks should be open but people shouldn't congregate...if this continues into <br /> warmer weather we will have to relook at It...BB—do the police drive by the beach occasionally? <br /> GH—not a lot of people at beach, no one congregating. - <br /> GH--regarding short-term rentals...there has been guidance that covers lodging and short-term <br /> rentals was included in that...specific uses for STR, only for personeel who are in quarantine or <br /> are In support of COV19 response.—no vacation scheduling or use that can go on right now...just <br /> got contract with third party identification company...they will include in their initial notification <br /> the restrictions for use of short-term rentals during the panedemic... <br /> BB—looked like Airbnb mostly showing open in April on Mashpee, glad to hear news come down <br /> from state with these restrictions, concern among residents about visitors from out of state. GH <br /> difficult to enforce with second-homeowners in Town...CEO of CC Hospital asking people to self- <br /> quarantine if they come from other areas to the Cape... <br /> VW— when people driving to summer homes, they have to stock-up on food, so unrealistic to <br /> think they will have those supplies when they arrive. BB — put signange at stores to second- <br /> homeowners, would that help. VW — information on website about ordering groceries from <br /> online services such as,with a phone number. GH—town of Falmouth had big lighted sign boards <br /> for visitors to self-quarantine...great idea. There is one on 151 in Falmouth...gateway <br /> community...hopefully people are paying attention to those. BB — groceries seem significantly <br /> restocked,sneak shields at checkouts, no reusable bag use. <br /> BB— peak is expected in the next couple of weeks, according to governor's office. Use peapod <br /> service,try to avoid frequent trips to grocery store, don't hoard, but do one big shop. It will get <br /> worse before it gets better. <br /> GH—Tighe and Bond looking to do landfill monitoring...put them in touch with dPW; got notified <br /> by FD that there was a drum of hydraulic oil outside a contruction site, owner was contacted and <br /> 2 <br />
