Town of Mashpee <br /> 1�Grerit M'ck 1�iizrI Aorih <br /> AIashpc�e,Af' sszccliusetts.M64 <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday,January 21,2020 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Committee Members Present: Charlie Maintanis, James <br /> Reiffarth, and Joe Callahan. <br /> Charlie called the meeting to order at 8:37 am. <br /> 8:37 am Project Address: 89 Industrial Drive <br /> Business.Name: 11 Industrial Drive,LLC <br /> Agent: Cape& Islands Engineering . <br /> Request: Proposed 9,680 sq. ft. commercial building with five (5) <br /> contractor bays and office space. Proposed signage on building. <br /> Raul Lizardi-Rivera with Cape&Islands Engineering represented the applicant for <br /> the commercial building. The property is not entirely vacant and is used by the <br /> Mashpee Water Department to store their pipes,and building supplies.The property <br /> also has a ZBA Special Permit (SP-00-21) to allow for storage of waterworks <br /> material(hydrants,pipes and fittings). <br /> The property is completely clear except for a row of trees located to the rear that <br /> align the rear property line with a chain link fence. There are two entrances to the <br /> site from Industrial Drive.The left side of the lot is paved from the entrance toward <br /> the rear. There's a section in the rear that will remain a gravel surface. - <br /> The site received a ZBA Special Permit for an auto body shop but the property was <br /> sold and the new owner would like to develop a five (5)bay commercial building. <br /> The building is a metal constructed building by Graber Buildings.The front portion <br /> of the building will be office space approximately 15 ft.x 62 ft.wide, and each bay <br /> will be 70 ft. wide x 125 ft. The proposed parking will be along the side of the <br /> building,and will have a handicapped parking space in front part of the building of <br /> the office space.There will be a walkway to access the entrance for the office space, <br /> and another walkway on the opposite side of.the building. This application will be <br /> presented to the ZBA. <br /> Charlie asked if there were any color swatches. Raul said that it will probably be <br /> the typical gray color of the industrial buildings that are on Industrial Drive, but <br /> that was not discussed with the developer. The committee had a discussion that the <br /> colors could be submitted to the ZBA prior to their meeting date. <br /> 1 <br />
