Mrs. Botsford has reached out to DHCD for assistance with <br /> Vendor Web. <br /> With the exception of one resident at Breezy Acres, and a few small balances, we have rents paid <br /> in full for most developments, The one at Breezy Acres that hasn't paid was issued a 30-Day . <br /> Notice to Quit already a couple months ago. Evictions are delayed now due to COVID-19. We <br /> are 100% occupied at all sites, except for the one vacancy at Breezy Acres that we are having <br /> trouble filling. CHAMP continues to cause big delays. <br /> A motion was made by Kevin Shackett and seconded by Richard Halpern to accept the <br /> Treasurer's Report as presented.The motion carried unanimously. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT ,t& UPDATES: Mrs.Botsford reported that there has <br /> been a lot of activity with the announcement of a State of Emergency and the COVID-19 <br /> pandemic. Updates are going out to residents on a regular basis, by both written notices and <br /> phone calls using our reverse-911 system, Call-em-all. This is so for all of our four housing <br /> authorities as well as GCC and Asher's Path. Weekly telephone conference calls are being held <br /> with DHCD for updates and daily emails from multiple sources are being received and reviewed. <br /> All offices remain closed to the public, with administrative staff reporting to work,with some <br /> work approved remotely. Maintenance staff is cleaning and sanitizing all common areas daily, <br /> including Saturday and Sunday. In addition to that,they are responding to emergency work <br /> orders(only) and doing work only in unoccupied units and outdoors. Capital jobs are delayed if <br /> they involve going into residents' apartments. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that she is in the process of hiring a maintenance man now that DHCD <br /> has finally approved our budget. Phone interview has been conducted. If CORI and personal <br /> references check out,then we will offer the job. He can start any time. He will split his time <br /> between Carver and Mashpee, as well as Brewster if needed. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that our MassHousing annual review went very well on March 17.No <br /> findings. A full report is available for board members. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that HAP quarterly reports were submitted to the town today. <br /> s. Botsford reported that the Asher's Path draft audit was released. There were no findings but <br /> e are waiting for MHIC to review. With COVID-19 there will be a delay in final submittal. <br /> rs. Botsford reported that we have been approached regarding managing a new tax credit <br /> evelopment, Terrapin Ridge. This property is located in Sandwich and has 30 units of 1, 2, and <br /> -bedroom units. Construction is expected to start in May with a lease up expected 12-13 <br /> anths following. They have approached us to manage the property and propose a management <br /> greement that would include Maloney Properties overseeing lottery,lease up,and recertification <br /> For a period of two years.
