7 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 23, 2020 <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Update Discussion and Possible Action Relative to COVID-19: <br /> In reviewing the bill that creates several options for municipalities to address the immediate problem of <br /> COVID-19 and the risks of large,public gatherings present to Town Meeting that may be scheduled to <br /> occur in the coming weeks,the Board of Selectmen agreed to discuss the possibility of rescheduling at a <br /> subsequent Selectmen's Meeting. <br /> Residents were urged to be mindful of the actions of the County government, and to access their website <br /> for information regarding the coronavirus. Barnstable County has been coordinating with Cape Cod <br /> Health Care to disseminate information and assist in the coordination of the testing process. <br /> To facilitate the process, there is a great deal of information available online as many agencies are now <br /> operating remotely. <br /> Discussion and Approval of the Restated and Amended Agreement Between the Town of Mashpee and <br /> Mashpee Commons LP for the Treatment and Disposal of Wastewater: <br /> The Board of Selectmen reviewed the Restated and Amended Agreement as of the ls'day of January, 2020 <br /> by and between the Town of Mashpee and Mashpee Commons, LP for the Treatment and Disposal of <br /> Wastewater, dated July 1, 2016 as extended. <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins recommended approval. The Agreement provides for services to the <br /> Library, and the Police, Fire and Council on Aging complex. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to approve and execute the Restated and Amended Agreement <br /> between the Town of Mashpee and Mashpee Commons, LP for the Treatment and Disposal of <br /> Wastewater. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> 7 <br />
