As you know, all those whose boats
are moored on the Mashpee side of Waquoit Bay we pay a mooring fee to the Town as well as excise
tax on our boats which goes to the town as well. It only seems fair that those boat owners should be
allowed a permit to park near where their boat is moored. I am sure that the majority of boat owners
would be more than happy to pay an appropriate fee for the permit to park just as we pay for use of the
town beach and the waste/recycling facility. Not having access to park near the mooring area is
unreasonable to anyone who has paid both the mooring fee and the boat excise tax.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
1 of 2 4/29/2020, 1:55 PM
