Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Gottlieb at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> This is a virtual/remote meeting with all parties acknowledging attendance. <br /> It was disclosed the Board of Selectmen would be adding an item to the agenda not reasonably <br /> anticipated to be discussed regarding the Waste Disposal Agreement. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday April 27 2020 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Regular Session minutes of Monday, <br /> April 27, 2020 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Karen Fairband asked about the fee schedule related to the short term rental registration fees. It <br /> was noted this topic would be discussed on the Selectmen's agenda and the Town Manager or <br /> Assistant Town Manager would further explain the costs when they are adopted by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. As a result of the situation the citizens are facings with the COVID matter Ms. <br /> Fairbanks indicated that additional fees are onerous and recommended the fees be suspended for <br /> the term of one year. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Update Discussion and Possible Action Relative to COVID-19: <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins updated the Board of Selectmen on matters associated to the <br /> COVID-19 virus. To date,the total case count is 42 with (1) reported death. Effective May 6, <br /> 2020, the Governor has issued an order requiring face coverings indoors and in outside public areas, <br /> maintaining a social distance of 6' unless exempted due to medical conditions or DPH guidance. <br />
