This <br /> would include Personal Services Contracts and P.A.P. employees. <br /> Article #10: Single Use Plastic Bottle Ban <br /> Clarification was requested under item C. In the event of a declaration of an emergency affecting <br /> the availability and/or quality of drinking water for Mashpee residents the Town shall be exempt <br /> from this Bylaw for a period of seven(7) calendar days after such declaration. <br /> It was noted the article is slightly different than what was presented in the Bylaw format. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Miller to approve and recommend Article #10 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Richardson. <br /> Discussion followed. It is perceived the article is well intended, but it may be the initial start of a <br /> bottle ban. This may also be the beginning of a process that is being initiated in other <br /> communities to find a solution to protect the environment. There is a noted statement in the <br /> explanation that; Recycling is of little help and does not eliminate or reduce our dependence on <br /> plastic. <br />
